Anne-Marie and Gustaf Anders Centre for Media Studies (MC) at SSE Riga is hiring an Assistant Project Manager to provide necessary support for projects within the MC. The main task is to coordinate the Centre’s administrative operations. We are looking for someone who thrives in a high pace environment and is ambitious to grow in their career.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in project manager’s daily administrative tasks (preparing contracts, coordinating travels, visas etc.)
  • Assist in organizing various media events (study programme, workshops, conferences etc.)
  • Effectively communicate with various organization partners from numerous countries
  • Contribute to the Centre’s social media and the newsletter

Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills and initiative
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and MS Office
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong commitment to work collaboratively
  • Excellent English and Latvian language skills, both spoken and written (Russian language skills would be preferred, but not a must have)
  • Get things done attitude
  • Strong interest in media field

  • Monthly compensation EUR 1200 - 1500 gross (depending on experience). The offer for the final candidate will depend on experience and competences of the candidate for the required job.
