From 18 to 22 August 2025, the Summer School of Journalism for Youth project will take place for the ninth time to educate and inspire young media enthusiasts in Tallinn, Estonia. Many graduates of past Summer Schools are studying and working in media, communications, design, advertising and other media fields, some have blogged or even started their own media outlets.
The main part of the project will take place on 18-22 August. Following its results, the participants will create their first journalistic materials, and then from August to November the participants will be able to work together with RusERR news portal editors and publish their articles on the portal. The most active authors will receive valuable prizes and letters of recommendation from the organisers. At the end of August and in September several additional events and lectures will take place. Among them, a meeting with the editor-in-chief of Raadio 4, Julia Bali.

Participants of the project: 25 young people aged 14-18 representing the Russian-speaking minority from Tallinn and Harju County, whose applications will be selected by the organisers.
The application form must describe their motivation and interest in journalism and the project.
The project is organised by the Media Centre of the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga with the support of the Embassy of Sweden in Estonia. Project partners are Estonian Public Broadcasting news portal Rus.ERR.ee, ETV+ channel and Raadio 4.
All project activities and meals will be covered by the organizers.
